Popcorn Fun!

Unlike their Daddy, Layla and Jolyna absolutely love popcorn! They will fight you, each other and even tear open the bag trying to grab thier own handfuls. I have learned the secret to everyone being able to enjoy their fair share without a big mess all over the house..........

Sit them on the floor, give them each thier own little cup and enjoy the show! Believe it or not, lil Jojo finished hers before Big Sis everytime!

My Big Girl!

It's pretty hard to keep a straight face when trying to punish Miss Layla!! I told Miss Thang it was time to take her afternoon nap, something she has grown to fight me about daily. She sweet talked me into letting her take her nap in "Mommy's bed". She laid down and several minutes later I walked in to find her laying in my bed like this......

Miss Layla managed to find my eye cover and put it on!! Is she silly or what? That's my Layla always trying to be a Big Girl and do things she sees adults doing! :) I guess the moral of this story is don't let your kids see you doing something would be embarressed if they repeat!!!

Future Wolverines

Welcome to wonderful storybook of Layla and Jolyna's day to day adventures!

This was created with Daddy and Grandma Lamar in mind. We maybe far away but your in our thoughts and hearts daily and with this you can keep up with all that goes on.

The girls and I had a play date with my old high school and college teammate Kelsey and her twin girls. The girls are just a few months older than Layla so as you can imagine the four girls had quite the time entertaining themselves. It's so much fun to see kids interact with one another. Layla is so sweet and protective of her little Jojo! It's nice to open a new chapter in life, to be able to meet up with your old best friends and be able to catch up and watch your kids play together. Whoever what have imagined that at 14 playin for the Firecrackers Softball Team!!! Time flies, life is short so enjoy every moment because before we know it, it will be Layla and Jolyna watching their kids make new friends. Kelsey, thanks for encouraging me to do this for the girls!

Kelsey's Mom, Peggy made me this beautiful quilt out of my old Michigan Softball T-shirts. We thought it made a wonderful backdrop in our picture of future Wolverine All Americans!
